Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 OC Windforce (2GB, Beginner)

Description

The Windforce 2X cooling system features two 80mm unique blade fans and semi-passive 3D active fan together delivering an effective heat dissipation capacity for higher performance at lower temperatures. The airflow is spilt by the triangle fan edge, and guided smoothly through the 3D stripe curve on the fan surface, effectively enhancing the air flow by 23% over traditional fans. The semi-passive fans will remain off when the GPU is under a set loading or temperature for low power gaming. It allows gamers to enjoy gameplay in complete silence when the system is running light or idle. With a simple click on XTREME engine utility, gamers can easily tune the card to meet their various gaming requirements without any overclocking knowledge, while saving the hassle of manual adjustment. Lower RDS(on) MOSFETs are specially designed to produce lower switching resistance for faster electric current charging and discharging at extremely low temperature. Metal Choke hold energy much longer than common iron-core chokes at high frequency, thus effectively reduce core energy loss and EMI interference. Lower ESR Solid Capacitors ensure better electronic conductivity for excellent system performance and longer lifespan.more

Note regarding graphics cards

This offer is currently limited to two per person, per company and now also per model range (e. g. max. two 1070 Ti, independent of brand and version). Due to the high demand we’re currently experiencing (mining), we have introduced a limitation per item, customer and model range. Multiple orders will be cancelled. Thank you for your understanding.

Graphics cards

A video card, video adapter, graphics accelerator card, display adapter, or graphics card is an expansion card which generates output images to a display. Most video cards offer added functions, such as accelerated rendering of 3D scenes and 2D graphics, video capture, TV-tuner adapter, MPEG-2/MPEG-4 decoding, FireWire, light pen, TV output, or the ability to connect multiple monitors (multi-monitor). Other modern high performance video cards are used for more graphically demanding purposes, such as PC games.
Video hardware is often integrated into the motherboard, however all modern motherboards provide expansion ports to which a video card can be attached. In this configuration it is sometimes referred to as a video controller or graphics controller.

Number of shaders

A shader in the field of computer graphics is a set of software instructions, which is used by the graphic resources primarily to perform rendering effects. Shaders are used to allow a 3D application designer to program the GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) "programmable pipeline", which has mostly superseded the older "fixed-function pipeline", allowing more flexibility in making use of advanced GPU programmability features.
