Edition 12/2015 - Mit einer GTX 980 TI braucht man sich eigentlich hinsichtlich der Leistung keine Sorgen machen, denn selbst bei Spielen in UHD liefern die Grafikkarten noch flüssige Framerates. So ist es auch im Falle der Gainward, wobei diese von allen 980 TI im Test am wenigsten übertaktet ist, sodass sie sich bei der Leistung dementsprechend unterordnen muss. Die drei Lüfter halten die Temperatur auf einem guten Niveau und sind außerdem sehr leise. Mit dem Stromverbrauch von maximal 392 Watt kann man ebenfalls vollauf zufrieden sein.

Dieses arbeitet nicht nur ungemein effizient, sondern ist dazu auch noch ungemein leise. Diese Kombination findet man gemeinhin nicht so häufig. Auch die 3D-Leistung der Karte verführt zur glänzenden Kritiken. Wer aber das volle Potential des Modells nutzen möchte, braucht dafür schon einen Monitor mit 4K-Auflösung, den heute noch nicht viele besitzen. Die Kehrseite der riesigen Leistung ist ein ebenfalls riesiger Stromverbrauch, der bei einigen zusätzlich ein Aufrüsten des Netzteils nötig machen wird. more
