The HDMI connections on this daughter card support HDMI 2.0, in contrast to the connections on the original board, which only supported HDMI 1.4b. The daughter card has two bidirectional fibre optic connections. By replacing your original daughter card (mezzanine card) with this card, the input and output options of your cards are expanded so that they support HDMI 2.0.
