The AD240 is a duplex scanner with a speed of 40 pages per minute. It is fast, reliable and can easily scan credit cards, business cards or documents with a heavy grammage.

A duplex scanner perfect for scanning documents and cards
Thanks to the advanced paper guide and image processing technology, stacks of paper with papers of different weights and sizes can be scanned, cut and straightened without any problems. The paper size varies from 50x50mm up to 240x356mm and the automatic document feeder is strong enough to handle paper with a grammage of 413g/m2 or even embossed cards (e.g. health insurance or credit cards) with a thickness of up to 1.25mm.
Intuitive operation
The AD240 is very easy to use thanks to the LCD display. When the destination directory is selected and the scan button is pressed, the scan starts immediately. The scanned image is sent directly to a software application such as an e-mail program, printer or image editing software. Up to nine frequently used scan settings can be stored on the buttons.
Ultrasonic double sheet detection
With the integrated ultrasonic double sheet detection, the scanner detects overlapping paper by measuring the thickness. If overlapping paper should be fed, a warning message appears. The ultrasonic detection can be switched off if documents with stickers or sticky notes are to be scanned. This innovative technology makes it possible to avoid double feeding and still scan different types of paper.

The AD240 comes in a unique, stylish design. The paper input and output can be folded when not in use. The paper holder also protects the scan unit from dust when folded. Unlike bulky conventional scanners, the compact AD240 is easy to transport and fits on any desk without taking up much space.
