The RT-AC88U's NitroQAM (1024-QAM) technology enables a combined WLAN speed of 3,167 Mb/s, ensuring that every user on the network can enjoy latency-free streaming and online gaming.

Ping times and variances are critical technical parameters that affect responsiveness in online gaming. These values essentially depend on the route that the game-relevant data packets have to travel to and from their destination. WTFast's Gamers Private Network (GPN) automatically optimizes routing performance by selecting the most efficient route for game-relevant data packets, resulting in permanently reduced ping time and minimal packet loss. RT-AC88U users get this optimization for free, so they can stay one step ahead of their opponents in virtually any multiplayer online game - at no additional cost.

With Adaptive QoS (Quality of Service), the bandwidth available for games can be increased by simply prioritizing game-relevant data packages and activities.
