The APC Rack Power Distributor AP8953 allows for comprehensive control of power supply to systems and active monitoring. The remote-controlled outputs enable switching on and off for reboot processes and prevent unauthorized use of individual outputs. Adjustable delays allow for a user-defined sequence for switching connected systems on and off.

Monitoring and prioritization of load distribution. Overloading of circuits can be managed by selectively turning off consumers and extending the operating time of critical systems through prioritization in load distribution. Power measurements enable real-time remote monitoring of connected loads. User-defined alarms alert you to potential circuit overloads before critical IT systems fail.

Remote Configuration. The configuration and control of the rack power distributor is possible via secure web, SNMP, or Telnet interfaces. Central management software can be used upon request.
