Sleek gaming monitor, a nice blend of form and functionality

This large gaming monitor is expansive, but does not look bulky. The curvature is immersive and the menu controls are intuitive. The light control program is a fun addition, although a lighting other than ROG red would have been nice. The one major downside is the initial setup... for which there is no real user guide. The individual pieces need to be socketed together rather forcefully, which means that they fit well together, but it is a little frightening jamming two pieces together when you're just not sure you're holding them the right way. The back panel hiding the outputs is a fantastic idea to cover clumps of messy cables, but is fixed so tightly without an obvious release latch that I had to simply shut my eyes and hope I wasn't ripping the back casing off the monitor. Aside from the setup, a beautiful piece of hardware that provides a rich colour and depth alongside a gaming rig with the right GPU
