Excellent price/performance, perfect for gaming and office duties.

The 27" 16:9 surface is a bit smaller than what I expected, compared with my 24" 16:10 monitor, but the DPI is noticeably higher. Color is quite good and definitely better than TN panels. Contrast is a bit better than my previous IPS monitor and light bleed is minimal.

The high refresh rate, which is a major selling point, is noticeable but not as impressive as I thought it would be. In fact, I discovered that the 144fps at 2560x1440 is a very high target for my system and I can't say I regularly achieve 100+ fps. I also haven't tested FreeSync, which would be a major advantage in lower fps situations, because my GPU does not support it.

Despite the above limitations, this monitor is definitely an upgrade and I can't find many alternatives at this price range if you care about high refresh rates, variable refresh and want an IPS panel.
