Next to the 21mm my second Loxia. Once again a pleasure to work with the lens. Focusing by hand - it's quite easy once you get used to it. If you do it right, the sharpness is exactly where you want it (and not where an AF automatic thinks it should be sharp). If you want to document action or sports, you're probably more likely to go for an AF lens. The Loxia is clearly the lens for slow photography, i.e. architecture, landscape, even street.

Since I already own a very good 50 mm lens for E-mount, it is stupid to spend another CHF 1000.- and buy a second one. My background was as follows: The first lens is a very fast 50 (f/0.95) but it also has its disadvantages: It is very heavy and very large, so I was looking for an alternative. I chose the Loxia because of its size, and so far I have not regretted this step. It is very sharp, reproduces very nice colors and is perfect for the E-mount: Small, handy and not obtrusive. Despite MF, all EXIF data is transmitted - even the aperture. This is adjustable: for filming, the click-aperture can be changed to a smooth-running aperture by turning a screw. Ingenious lens.
