Very good product, it's a pity that Samsung doesn't offer this range, size, weight, autonomy etc.

Before a trip to the USA, I was looking for a handy Android tablet with LTE. I bought this tablet because it supports all major frequencies for the AT&T mobile network. In the US, I bought an AT&T prepaid SIM kit, which I then activated on the internet using the enclosed instructions for phone, SMS and data.
The tablet performed better than expected. I occasionally consulted Google Maps for route decisions. In traffic jam situations, the current situation was always easy to see with Google Maps. In the local area, I occasionally used the tablet as a navigation system. In interurban areas, I used a Tom-Tom navigation system for better lane guidance.
Hotel search and reservations worked very well on the 8-inch screen, while reservation apps on smartphones occasionally don't show all the options. Thanks to the good coverage of the AT&T network, this also worked on the road, for example at a motorway rest area.
AT&T's network: This tablet supports all major LTE "main bands" and all UMTS frequencies from AT&T. Overall, AT&T has better network coverage than T-Mobile USA. The following LTE bands from AT&T are missing in the tablet: 30 / 66 / 29
T-Mobile USA network: This tablet supports the LTE "main bands" for the large conurbations, as well as all UMTS and GSM frequencies of T-Mobile USA. However, the tablet is missing the "new" LTE band 71, which limits the LTE network coverage outside the conurbations (compared to the published propagation maps). The tablet is missing the following LTE bands from T-Mobile USA: 71 / 12 / 66.
The tablet is very thin. This also limits the battery life, especially when LTE and GPS are switched on. In the car, the tablet was therefore always connected to the USB cable. The sharp edge at the top of the display cuts unpleasantly into the finger when the tablet is held in the hand during use. The original Samsung flip case provides some relief. The display is very reflective. I was not able to apply the protective film without air bubbles.
