    Top price performance

    With 2.5A, it supplies more current than many old mobile phone LED devices. Indispensable for the Octoprint Imag, as the Raspi requires a fair amount of power.

    An "official" power supply unit should also provide enough power.

    With my Pi 3, "undervoltage" alerts come up all the time, even with this power supply unit. No wonder. According to the USB spec, the 4 USB ports must supply 500mA each, so 2 A just for that. And even that is only enough if the USB devices adhere to the spec. This leaves almost nothing for the Pi itself.
    Why isn't a power supply unit offered that provides enough current?

    Yep. It's a power supply.

    Finally no more "low voltage" warnings from the kernel :)
