After 30+ years, the bottom part of my previous press went down and cracked the hard plastic. So a new citrus press is needed, again a power free model. Not so easy. This press from Emsa is doing well so far. It squeezes juice out of oranges properly, although the press part seemed pretty rounded compared to my predecessor. The plastic is described as "sturdy" - time will tell, don't throw the press down on purpose to find out right now. Even if the quantity discount seems to suggest that you need replacements of it more often? Very pleasing so far: the press is quite easy to clean under running water from the pulp. Also still nice would have been now measurements of the amount of liquid on the lower part. Hope she makes it now the next 20 years!
