The new PocketBook eReaders – Touch Lux 5, Basic 4 and the Color screen

PocketBook is launching three new eReader models. The highlight is definitely the PocketBook Color, colour screen included. You can even read comics or magazines on this eReader.
PocketBook, the Swiss eReader manufacturer, is known worldwide. In 2013, they launched the PocketBook Touch Lux and their first eReader with a colour display, the PocketBook Color Lux. Today, seven years later and several eReader models richer, the latest PocketBook generations are now coming onto the market.
PocketBook Color – your colourful companion
The most important PocketBook Color specs:
- 6-inch E-Ink Kaleido™ color screen – the latest E-Ink Print Color ePaper technology.
- 4096 colours.
- 300 dpi resolution in black and white mode.
- 100 dpi resolution in colour mode.
- Internal memory: 16 GB (expandable).
- Bluetooth for wireless audio.
What are the advantages of a colour eReader?
An eReader is very attractive for younger readers. Children enjoy reading and looking at texts with colourful pictures. This is of course also an advantage for parents, as the eReader is small and handy and you never have to pack and carry all 5 of your little ones' favourite books around with you.
There's also plenty of literature for adults, which is much better and more pleasant to read on the PocketBook Color. Art books, textbooks, business literature with colourful diagrams and tables or even maps, comics and magazines.
Pocketbook Touch Lux 5 – the all-rounder
The Touch Lux 5 convinces with its new Dual Core processor. This means that it loads new pages much faster than its predecessor. In addition, it's equipped with SMARTLight technology, which adjusts the brightness to your surroundings while you're reading, giving you the optimum reading light.
Pocketbook Basic 4 – the beginner
The successor to the entry-level PocketBook Basic 3 has been upgraded to the new PocketBook Standard. With a modern design, the latest E-Ink Carta™ technology and a better resolution, it's a real winner.
