Rogue One, the first Star Wars spin-off film, hits the big screen on 15.12.16. The story takes us back to a point in time between Episode III and Episode IV, yet is a bit closer to the latter. The plot revolves around a group of rebel fighters with a mission to steal the plans for the Death Star. To bridge the waiting time until the movie comes to a cinema near you, I’ve put together the twelve best activities to make your anticipation more bearable and to get into the mood for the big day.
1. Get ready for a movie marathon
The days are getting shorter and temperatures won’t be getting any warmer. How about a mega movie marathon? Enjoy 15 hours and 40 minutes of ultimate entertainment and relaxation.
John Williams’ score for the Star Wars movies is mind-blowing! The record starts with the title track and slowly transitions into a new melody that announces the arrival of the villain Kylo Ren in the movie “The Force Awakens”. In combination with the right record player, an incredible audio experience is guaranteed.
Roy Sonderegger, our very own Star Wars fan and Product Manger, recommends the following composition:
"The piece of music "Rey’s Theme" is uplifting and surprisingly youthful – providing a great contrast to the otherwise dark and pompous compositions.»
The Force Awakens - 2 LP Hologram (2016)
Eleven years after the “Revenge of the Sith”, Darth Vader returns to the cinema – to mark the occasion, how about dishing up a delicious cake, Stormtrooper muffins or a cocktail with Star Wars ice cubes?
Your best bet is to sleep loads – that way time will pass much faster until the movie release. Nice idea but still need to go to work? Not a problem. This Stormtrooper will get you out of bed in no time.
