BBQ guide: Discover our BBQ highlights 2017!
From gas to electric to pellet and charcoal barbecues – find out all there is to know about the different types of barbecues and their highlights.
As a rule, gas barbecues are operated by butane or propane gas and are very easy to light. It takes 5–15 minutes for them to heat up, which is considerably less time than a charcoal barbecue. The cooling-down time is also very short, making it possible to clean the barbecue immediately after use. Gas barbecues are ideal for various grillables and feature a wide range of heat settings. Thanks to their low smoke production, they are even suitable for use on a balcony.

The pellet barbecue embodies all the advantages of the different types of barbecues. You can use it as a smoker, grill on it like on a good gas barbecue and bake pizzas like in a stone oven.
