BBQ guide: Discover our BBQ highlights 2017!
From gas to electric to pellet and charcoal barbecues – find out all there is to know about the different types of barbecues and their highlights.
As a rule, gas barbecues are operated by butane or propane gas and are very easy to light. It takes 5–15 minutes for them to heat up, which is considerably less time than a charcoal barbecue. The cooling-down time is also very short, making it possible to clean the barbecue immediately after use. Gas barbecues are ideal for various grillables and feature a wide range of heat settings. Thanks to their low smoke production, they are even suitable for use on a balcony.

The pellet barbecue embodies all the advantages of the different types of barbecues. You can use it as a smoker, grill on it like on a good gas barbecue and bake pizzas like in a stone oven. Similar to the gas barbecue, this type of barbecue is very easy to use and has an exact temperature regulation. Furthermore, this barbecue provides the typical smoke flavour that we are used to from charcoal barbecues.
