AMD processors with the matching ASUS motherboard on special offer
Now’s the time to upgrade your system. From entry-level CPUs with four cores to all-rounders with eight cores, the AMD lineup covers almost everything you need. Not sure what to get?
The two Ryzen 9 processors are available again. Once our stock is sold out, we’ll temporarily take them offline. Thanks for your understanding.
Choose your motherboard
Three different platforms (chipsets) are on offer, but they’re all based on the same socket (AM4). For hardware enthusiasts or over-clockers, there’s often no way around the B550 or X570 motherboards. Compared to the B450 boards, these boards offer better overclocking capabilities and are equipped with PCI-E 4.0 instead of PCI-E 3.0. Using the latest standard and the matching hardware, write speeds of up to 8 GB per second are possible. Although the B450 doesn't offer PCI-E 4.0, it can be retrofitted with a BIOS update for a Ryzen 5000 processor.
A comment from user "mifurrer" drew our attention to the fact that the X570-TUF motherboards do not have a flashback. Thus, they would not work with the Ryzen 5000 processors out of the box. Good news: At this minute, the boards are booked out and will be flashed by ASUS itself tomorrow (30 April 2021). So you can still benefit from the promotion, but expect delivery next week. Thank you for your understanding.
B550 and B450
Important note regarding Ryzen 5000 series CPUS: the B450-F II motherboard can be updated to the latest BIOS with a USB stick without a built-in processor. It’s only then that you can use a Ryzen 5000 processor.
But I’m missing the graphics card?!
We’re aware of that. The current situation regarding graphics cards is troublesome for everyone. If you're looking for graphics card, watch this page, as I’ll update it as soon as we’ve received some graphics cards again and are launching the next sale. All I can say so far is the RTX 3070 and RTX 3090 are arriving soon.
