Frage zu LG 34WK95U-W (34", 5120 x 2160 Pixels)

User enios

Can you watch Netflix in 4k with this monitor when using DisplayPort, USB-C or Thunderbolt? (in other words, is it HDCP 2.2 compliant?)
I know the HDMI port is HDCP 2.2 compliant but it's limited to a 4k resolution so it's useless.

Well Netflix is limited to a 4K resolution to begin with... So, not sure what you expect.

I guess my question was not clear enough.
The HDMI port is limited to 4k, so the screen will be 20% black on one side, no matter the content, so let's forget about using HDMI with this monitor.
What I am asking is, if you're using USB-C, DisplayPort or Thunderbolt (and getting a 5k desktop on Windows or MacOS), does Netflix render in 4k or only Full HD (1080p)?
The reason I am asking is that one user reported not getting Netflix in 4k when using DisplayPort (so the desktop is 5k but Netflix will only render in 1080p). Has to do with a HDCP 2.2 problem.

According to my informations, HDCP 2.2 over DisplayPort is supported and you should get Netflix in 4K on this monitor in the native 5K resolution. But the real question you should be asking yourself, is if your device you're using has HDCP 2.2 output e.g. graphics card.
